NIVA California Chapter
Los Angeles
The Los Angeles chapter of NIVA California brings operators, promoters, and the people who work in these rooms into one coordinated voice: on legislation, on shared resources, and on the workforce that keeps the lights on.
Independent venues are cultural infrastructure. Los Angeles has more of it than anywhere else in California, and more pressure on it.
What we do
What this chapter does
Advocacy
Tracking and shaping California legislation that affects independent venues, promoters, and fans, and making sure Los Angeles operators are heard in Sacramento.
Mutual support
Connecting operators with resources, peer guidance, and a unified voice.
Workforce pathways
Investing in the people who run the rooms, from box office to front of house to production.
Membership
Who this is for
Independent venue operators, promoters, festival producers, and the staff who work in these rooms across Los Angeles and the surrounding region. If you run a room, book shows, or work in one, this is your chapter.
